It was made simple by the grace of God and the help of friends on Sunday evening. This morning I didn’t start work at the Alumni Office until eleven o’clock, and I took advantage of that time to finish my move, clean my old dorm room, turn in my key, and breathe. The Lord has blessed me greatly.
One thing that I had been dreading for the entire time this move was approaching was the lack of Internet connection. In a way, it is a very good thing that I am not constantly plugged in. But in another way, it makes blogging a bit more inconvenient than I would like. I have a few plans for getting my posts online and checking my email. Not having quick availability will hopefully encourage me to write more substantial things.
Keep praying for me.
Toodles.
For the following, I praise Jesus:
- Jobs with lovely people at the Alumni and Admissions Offices on campus.
- A small job doing landscaping/gardening with a former tutor’s widow, beginning Tuesday.
- A job at City Dock Coffee shop across the street from my apartment, beginning Wednesday.
- A roof over my head for the summer.
- A laptop, which may not function though I’m trying to fix it.
- Small funds coming in for India.
- Willis, my new roommate, made me pasta for my first meal in the apartment.
- Freedom from worry.

Well, you'll work at City Dock, right? So you could write things and save them, then post them at work (during breaks, of course). Just an idea.
See you around.
If I get the laptop to work. Otherwise, no.
Yeah, not having an internet connection is one of my biggest fears. It's amazing to think that when our parents grew up, they never even dreamed of anything like it, and yet now we can't live without it.
What's this "we" stuff? You got a mouse in your pocket?
Ok, Ok, that was a general "we." But it certainly applies to me.
