(I've never blogged before. Do I seem nervous? I'm not nervous. I've never blogged before. Should I be nervous?)

What made me begin this blog was not too fascinating. But the joyous thing about blogging is that I'm not required to be interesting to be published. I created an account here at blogspot.com because I wanted to comment on my sister Rebecca's blog. Rebecca wrote a charming little article about her encounter with a fascist named Evil during her sojourn in the Czech Republic. How could I not comment? The compulsion to write a comment—and not any comment, but a comment with my name attached to it—drove me to the brink of insanity. Ergo, my first blog, my first contact with the greater world of minor literary evils has come.

Will this be my only post? Will I have something interesting to write about, or will I resolve to simply comment on my sister's posts? Stay tuned to find out what happens next!
