The Plan

Recently I’ve been enjoying a time of general relaxation, though I have plenty of work to do. I’ve been reading Iliad alongside my Bible studies. I’ve been writing a bit more than usual—trying to type up my journal from India, conceptualizing my essays on prayer and devotion, and sketching out a plot for a top-secret fictional piece.
My desire is to finish a main chunk of the plot sketch, but that’s not what should be done first. I honestly need to get my journal typed up. Once it’s on file I’ll be more motivated to write a commentary for it, print it out, and send it to my church.
So now I need to come up with a strategy. I’m less efficient if I multitask, so I need to tackle these things one at a time.

  1. Finish book six of Iliad.
  2. Finish the first book of my plot sketch.
  3. Type out the remainder of my journal and finish the commentary to match it.
  4. Intermittently work on my essays as my journey to Annapolis approaches.
Now that I’ve written the plan, I need to do it. On to war at fair Ilion!
