Plans?

My plans for break are far from simple. Here’s what I have so far. My last seminar is Thursday night. I have work Friday and Saturday morning, but I’ll be kicked out of the dorms Saturday at noon. I need to pack, therefore, on Friday and take my stuff with me to work, and then I’ll spend the night with Ethan (my roommate last year) at Tim & Tanya’s place. Ethan’s parents are coming Sunday to pick us up. Then, this is where it becomes less clear. I hope to get a ride to Reading, PA, by Ethan. I hope Andrew & Co. will be at church in Reading on Sunday. I hope to spend a week with them. I hope my friend Aaron from Bath will come down to visit them, and then we’ll return to Bath together. Somehow I’ll get to New York for a couple of weeks and see my family! I’m excited to see Katy & Ezra, and Rebecca will be back from China! Among my more definite plans I have three main academic projects, in no particularly priority: (1) re-read the Aeneid; (2) read as much of Dante’s Divine Comedy as possible, hopefully all of it; (3) write a paper for Tomarchio as a precursor to my Sophomore Essay.
It should be a good break. But I’m not there yet. Today I’m having a tea at four with a handful of tutors and other sophomores in the common room here, and then I need to prepare for seminar tomorrow evening. I hope to be through the third book of the Aeneid before I even start traveling, because I don’t anticipate reading all that much while I’m with Andrew & Licia.

I love y’all. I’ll blog more later today.
