Home Sweet (Disheveled) Home

I’ve moved in. I attended a dinner this evening with the other Resident Assistants. And now I’ve spent a few hours this evening working out a schedule for this week:
Anthony is coming to visit me on Monday. Charity is joining us on Tuesday. Wednesday the freshmen arrive, and I’m seen as someone fit to “orient” them on Thursday. Thursday evening is the first seminar of the year. Friday morning marks the beginning of tutorials. I’ve also scheduled the first Christian Fellowship meeting on Friday evening at 18:00. The Dean’s lecture follows it at 20:15. I also work at City Dock on Wednesday afternoon, which I imagine to be busier work than it has been recently; the parental influence on new students to explore historic Annapolis while they’re visiting inevitably draws them into the caffeinated clutches of my cute and cozy little coffee counter. (What has City Dock done to me?)
I will now be so bold as to turn on loud worship music and unpack this mess behind me, because I am the only only one here! My room is, as they say, “cozy,” and I will need a certain amount of creativity mixed appropriately with miracles from heaven to accomplish this task before I pass out tonight.

Lucky dog, all moved in (sorta) and such! I am very jealous that you get St. John's all to yourself. My train leaves in the morning, and I with it (carrying a ridiculous amount of luggage). Ah well - can't wait to see you!
