Ready to Zzz

So tired. I didn’t get any work done on my mathematics paper, but I did finish my seminar reading, did a mandatory workout for crew, and read about ideal gas laws for lab tomorrow. This weekend was wonderful. I’ll write to you more, I guess, when I grow weary of writing about ratios and numbers tomorrow. It will be for me a respite to report on today’s happenings in fuller detail; for now, however, I’ll leave you with the knowledge that I’m truly blessed, and this weekend has been a good time of prayer and struggle and teaching from God.

To end, a random tidbit—a song by the band Delirious? called “Jesus Blood” (written by Martin Smith), which I’ll be singing to myself as I fall asleep tonight:
There’s a secret I must tell
Of all the love I’ve found
And it's hidden in my heart
The day you tore my world apart

Hallelujah, King forever, Friend and Saviour

Jesus’ blood never fails me,
Jesus’ blood never fails me,
Jesus’ blood, Jesus’ blood

And this secret, it will run
To the corners of the earth
Where every woman, every son
Will carry high their chains undone

Hallelujah, King forever, Friend and Saviour

Jesus’ blood never fails me,
Jesus’ blood never fails me,
Jesus’ blood never fails me,
Jesus’ blood, Jesus’ blood

Sing your songs of freedom
Praise the God of heaven
Love that never fails me
Jesus’ blood, Jesus’ blood
