Quick Update

I spent a good chunk of Sunday with Tim & Tanya. They invited me over to Tanya’s brother’s house for some chow, and I left promptly to go find Ariele & Mama Sieling at school. (Thanks for stopping by!) I’m glad I was able to see them, but it felt like too little. I didn’t know what to do with them. It was a sort of bleary day outside, but I walked them through some of the buildings and showed them my dorm room, etc. We chatted for a little while, and then they took off for North Carolina. Later in the day Tim called me and I met him in one of the classrooms where he was studying. He took me over to his house for dinner. Shannon, Tanya’s sister-in-law who made me lunch, was there also, and we all played Yahtzee after dinner until Tanya’s brother Ryan came. It was a nice time. Tim talked about his pyrotechnically destructive childhood. Good times, good times.

My seminar last night was very interesting. Politics deals a bit with slavery and family relationships and all that jazz as a precursor to actual city/state government and constitution. The Greek is opening up to me.

I have a load of work to do, and I need to go row in the gym this morning. Have a great day everyone!
