At Home

I’m readying myself to return to St. John’s. Tomorrow I’ll be able to attend church at Bath Baptist for the first time in a few months. I’m excited. I’ll need to leave early, though. My father is driving me down to Lancaster, PA, where my roommate Ethan lives. We’ll drive an hour to Hunt Valley, MD, take the light rail thence to Annapolis, and then the commuter bus to the school.
Things have been good here at home. It’s wonderful to see my friends. Sometimes there are things that I don’t want to see in the people I once smiled and cried with, and often I will see them. But I must press on and remember love. We all must remember love.
I’ll be back to school (I almost wrote, “home”) tomorrow. I haven’t done most of the work I wanted to do. I didn’t even bring my Euclid with me. Thucydides will be a fun treat on the car ride down. And I have a few weeks to write my lab paper. I should at least think about it today or tomorrow. We’ll see how things go.
Toodles.
